Day 1: TRAVEL TO TAPOLA

Travel to Tapola on a Friday evening/night as you will have the next day to explore the place. This weekend destination is 250 kms away from Mumbai and 140 kms from Pune. When you pack your bags, don't forget your swimming costume. If you are adventurous, then you must book your stay in camps, else there are well-furnished hotels too. The scenic river camp will mesmerise you and will transport you to a calmer place. Amidst the woods and leaves, go for the water sport activities such as speed boating and paddle boating followed by kayaking in the backwaters in Koyna River. The activities, although basic, will not disappoint you. While you are on your boating trip, you would get to see the glimpses of spots such as Bamnoli Island and Triveni Sangam. When back to the camps, light the bonfire and enjoy the cold breeze that touches your face and inject tranquility in your body. Dance, eat and sleep in the lap of nature.

DAY 2: FROM TAPOLA TO MAHABALESWAR

After having breakfast, leave for the next destination. The drive from Tapola to Mahabaleshwar is about 25 kms and gives you enough time to enjoy the surreal moments of nature. This hill station will offer you 'Darshan Trips' as well. If you want to go ahead, drive down the hill towards Wai to Panchgani as it is close to Mahabaleshwar. Main attractions of the place are Table land, Sydney Point and Parsi Point. These are some ideal destinations that will make it difficult for you to leave the place. Then, you can drive back home at night.

If you have an extra day planned for this trip, then you must go for Vasota trek as Tapola is the base camp for most adventurous treks one can go in Maharashtra. It will not only give you thrill, but will help you connect with your teammates and fellows.
